DA2i Dashboards

Role: Data Visualization Engineer
Tech: Python Dash, Plotly, Pandas, Tableau, Excel, Git, WordPress

DA2i Dashboards is a suite of interactive data visualization tools created for the Technology and Social Change Group (TASCHA) at the University of Washington. The project supports the United Nations’ Development and Access to Information (DA2i) initiative, measuring how digital access impacts social well-being across the world.

Daniel maintained and enhanced TASCHA’s Python Dash web app, visualizing more than 35 global indicators of digital inclusion and equity. He also created Tableau dashboards and reports that were incorporated into presentations and research articles, helping communicate complex relationships between connectivity, education, gender, and development.

This project demonstrates Daniel’s ability to translate social research into intuitive, data-driven experiences. By connecting open data, visualization design, and global policy, the DA2i Dashboards embody his mission to use technology ethically and beautifully — revealing patterns that support human progress and digital equity.
